Copy eWallet cards from one wallet to another
Last Updated:
If you want to divide your eWallet® wallet into two wallets (each with different data) in eWallet for Windows or eWallet for macOS, you can make a copy of your wallet and remove cards from each so they have different contents, OR, you can make a new wallet and copy individual cards into the new wallet.
To copy a lot of cards
- Open your current wallet in eWallet, and choose File → Save As → eWallet File to make a backup copy of this wallet, in case you delete something you didn’t mean to. Choose File → Open to re-open your original wallet file.
- Now, again choose File → Save As → eWallet File, but give this wallet a new name, and save in your Documents folder. This is your second wallet file. Remove the cards from this wallet that you will be keeping in your original wallet.
- Then open your original wallet one more time (File → Open), and remove the cards from it that you now have in the new wallet.

- To open the second wallet, and have both wallets open at the same time, open the folder location of the other wallet, and double-click the wallet to open in eWallet. You can size the eWallet windows to be side-by-side (grab a corner and drag). In eWallet for Mac you can also open a second wallet from the File → Open menu.
