Unfortunately, the iPhone & iPad version of eWallet does not yet support customized templates. However, if you are using eWallet for Windows, any of the cards that you create on the Windows version using your specific template will synchronize into your Apple mobile devices with all of the customized field names and types that you have set.

eWallet 7 for Mac looks for Linked background images in a different location than the eWallet Mac Preview. The old location was: /Users/<your username>/Documents/eWallet/Graphics and Sounds/ The new location is: /Users/<your username>/Library/Application Support/Ilium Software/eWallet/Images If you move your linked images into that folder, eWallet will see them and display them on your cards.

eWallet’s components are digitally signed. When you launch eWallet, Windows contacts Usertrust in order to verify the digital signatures we’ve signed eWallet with, to make sure their certificates haven’t been revoked and that they are otherwise valid.

eWallet for iPhone & iPad allows you to delete a wallet file without entering that wallet file’s password. There are two reasons why we do not prompt for the wallet password: Requiring a password may make it impossible for you to delete a wallet file if you forget its password.

Yes. eWallet on the iPhone and iPod touch lets you create nested categories. You can create categories within categories. This makes it easy to organize your cards just the way you want them. To nest your categories simply Move a card or category into the category you want them in, or create a new category in the category you want them in.

It can be if you use Apple’s directions to backup your device. The backing up your device via iCloud option is particularly useful as it is automatic. We strongly suggest that you synchronize eWallet to the Windows or macOS version via Wi-Fi or the cloud to keep a separate copy of your wallet file on your computer.

eWallet’s import wizard attempts to map fields in whatever program you were using, to fields in eWallet cards. If a field exists in the program you are importing from, but doesn’t exist in an eWallet card.

FAQ: What does upgrading my eWallet desktop software do to my current eWallet data?
Nothing! Installing the eWallet program on top of itself or upgrading to a new version will not overwrite or delete your existing data data. eWallet will not delete your wallet file, even when installing an upgrade.

An eWallet category’s type controls the default type of new cards created in that category. On a Windows desktop or notebook PC, categories have 3 attributes: name, icon, and default card type. You can have any kind of card in any kind of category; the default is just what’s pre-selected for you when you make a new card.

You can have as many levels of nested categories as you want, though we recommend no more than 3. If you have too many, you may not be able to see all of them on your device’s screen when they are expanded.

eWallet 4.1 and higher supports silent installs.
