You can add items to your list using the Item View Window, or you can insert them directly on your screen. Item View Window You’ll see the Item View window when you choose the Add Item to List menu item or button.

Once you have created a list in a custom lists file, you’re not stuck with the list of columns you start out with. (In lists created in a Portal you cannot customize the columns.)You can change the properties of the existing columns or create completely new ones.

Create a list with the New List menu item on the File menu. The New List Wizard will let you choose the type of list you want to create from the list of Templates. Then choose the columns you want and enter a name for your list.

ListPro lets you create list files containing as many lists as you want. In turn, each list can contain thousands of list items. In addition, you can organize your lists into folders. Each list in any file can have a different set of columns appropriate to that list.

ListPro 5.1 features options for linking files to Linked columns, as well as adding links to Images in your item Notes. By default, ListPro 5.10’s Linked column - and the browser for linking Images to your Notes - will look in a specific folder on your PC and Windows Mobile device.

ListPro comes with list templates for Collectorz.com Movie Collector, Book Collector, Music Collector, Comic Collector, and Game Collector. To import your Collectorz data into ListPro: Download and install ListPro onto your Windows PC if you don’t already have it In your Collectorz.

If for some reason ListPro did not install its templates on your Windows PC or Windows Mobile device, or you’d like to replace yours with the original set, please get them here. Just download the file from the link above, and put it in any folder on your Windows PC, and tell ListPro where it is using the Choose Templates File pick on ListPro’s Tools menu.

On Windows To edit the list of category values, choose Category Values from ListPro’s Tools menu. From here you can add new category values. You can also delete a category value won’t change that value in any items already using it.

On Windows PC and Windows Mobile, ListPro lets you change two column types into two other types. You can: Change a string column to a category column Change a number column to a string Tap+hold (on Windows Mobile) or use your right mouse button (on Windows PC) on the column heading of a string column or a number column and select Change Column Type from the pop up menu.
